The 154825001 is the heating element in most Frigidaire family dishwashers. Located at the bottom of the tub, it heats wash water for the cleaning cycle and dries dishes during the heat dry cycle. When it burns out, dishes come out wet and the dishwasher may also fail to fully clean during heated wash cycles.

The 154825001 is the heating element in most Frigidaire family dishwashers. Located at the bottom of the tub, it heats wash water for the cleaning cycle and dries dishes during the heat dry cycle. How to install the 154825001, step by step

  1. Shut off the dishwasher breaker and the water supply valve
  2. Remove the bottom rack and the spray arm for access
  3. Locate the 2 mounting nuts on the underside of the tub (under the dishwasher)
  4. Loosen the front toe kick panel and slide the dishwasher partway out for access
  5. Remove the wire harness and the 2 mounting nuts holding the element from below
  6. Lift the old element out from inside the tub
  7. Slide the new element into the same brackets, secure with the nuts from below
  8. Reconnect the wire harness, slide the dishwasher back, restore power and water
