The 316075103 is the bake element on most Frigidaire family electric ovens. A 240V heating coil that sits at the bottom of the oven cavity. When the coil burns through (visible blister or break), the oven preheats forever or never reaches set temperature, and only the broil function works.

How to install the 316075103, step by step
- Turn off the breaker for the oven (240V circuit, do not skip this)
- Remove the oven racks for clearance
- Locate the 2 mounting screws holding the bake element bracket to the back wall
- Remove the screws and pull the element forward 2 to 3 inches
- Disconnect the 2 wire spade connectors at the back of the element
- Connect the 2 wires to the new element terminals
- Push the element back against the wall and reattach the mounting screws
- Restore power, run the oven on bake at 350 F for 15 minutes to confirm
